Collection of Information
MEL only collects information from you for the purposes of providing educational services. The information collected includes financial information and sensitive personal information.
Use and Disclosure of Information
MEL may use or disclose your information where use or disclosure is:

for a directly-related secondary purpose that would have been within the reasonable expectations of the student at the time (eg quality improvement activities) |
| • | with the consent of the individual (see form below) |

required or authorised by law (for example to the Department of Education & Training and professional registration bodies) |
MEL does not share your information (student) with Mater Health Services (employer) or any third party unless authorised by law. In general, information shall only be collected, used and disclosed with the consent of the individual. There are some exceptions contained in the legislation.
